The Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (COARA) approved a number of new working groups, including “Towards an Inclusive Evaluation of Research (TIER)” – of which EuChemS is a member of. TIER held its kick-off meeting on 22 March.
EuChemS’ 2024 Global Women’s Breakfast (GWB2024) event, titled “Catalysing Diversity – How to Tackle Our Current Biases”, was held on 27 February. It was 4th GWB event of EuChemS, this time adressing tackling the biases we live with.
We are delighted to announce the release 2023 EuChemS Yearbook. The Yearbook was coordinated by the EuChemS Secretariat, and we extend our gratitude to all EuChemS members whose contributions ensured the accuracy and high standards of the publication.
Katherine Villa Gomez is the leader of a research group at the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ). Her group works on developing advanced photocatalysts and photoactive self-propelled micro/nanomotors for applications in the environmental field, generation of solar fuels, and energy.
