EuChemS is delighted to announce the finalists of the EuChemS Young Chemists’ Award (EYCA), which recognises and encourages excellent research carried out by young scientists working in the chemical sciences. The Award highlights young chemists whose work demonstrates scientific excellence, originality, and strong potential for future contributions to chemistry-related research fields.
The finalists were selected following evaluation, with criteria including excellence in chemistry and related fields, originality, independent contribution, depth of understanding, and awareness of the future perspectives of the research. They will be presented on the EuChemS’ Social Media channels soon.
The finalists are invited to present their research during the EYCA Competition Session at the EYCN Symposium, taking place as part of the 10th EuChemS Chemistry Congress (ECC10) in Antwerp, Belgium, from 12–16 July 2026. The Award ceremony will take place during ECC10, where Gold and Silver Medals will be presented in both categories and all finalists acknowledged on the stage
