The ceremony took place in the historic Auerbachs Cellar in Leipzig, Germany, on the occasion of the GDCh Science Forum Chemistry and was attended by the Presidents of several friendly chemical societies from around the world.

This festive event underscores the GDCh’s commitment to fostering global partnerships and knowledge exchange in the field of chemistry. The agreement with the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI) and the renewal of relations with the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) will pave the way for research, joint initiatives, and increased scientific exchange between Germany, Australia, and the UK.
