This Executive Board meeting could boast of being the first in numerous aspects: in addition to being the first time the Executive Board met in 2024, it was also the first meeting under the presidency of Angela Agostiano, as well as a first for many of the new board members who began their terms this year. Last but not least, it was the first time the board gathered in the Brussels offices of EuChemS since the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the two day meeting, strategic discussions were held related to numerous topics, such as EuChemS’ science policy activities and the upcoming 9th EuChemS Chemistry Congress in Dublin in July 2024, amongst other matters.
The next Executive Board meeting – the last one before ECC9 – will be held online, in June 2024.
