The EuChemS Chemistry Congresses (ECCs) are the most prominent events for the European chemistry community. They give opportunities to chemists from Europe and beyond to come together, present their research, discuss the developments of the discipline and network. With a scientific programme put together by a high level scientific committee, ECCs focus on the dialogue between the different branches of chemistry and on bringing academia and industry together, emphasizing chemistry’s far reaching impact.

The 9th EuChemS Chemistry Congress, co-organised the Institute of Chemistry Ireland, can boast of an impressive line-up and a top quality provisional programme. The international invited speakers will address 8 scientific themes, and many more subthemes. In addition to the presentations, attendees can also visit the poster sessions to further their knowledge on cutting edge chemistry. The programme also offers an industry day, to further industry-academia collaborations. Last but not least, the finalists of EuChemS Young Chemists’ Award will present their research in front of a live audience and jury at the ECC9, and the winners of the competition will be presented their medals at the closing ceremony.

In-between the versatile scientific events, we also recommend to visit the exhibition floor, where, amongst others, numerous companies, publishers and chemistry related organisations will set up booths – including EuChemS. At the EuChemS booth, you will be able to meet the members of the EuChemS Secretariat and other colleauges, learn more about who we are and what we do, as well as ask any questions you may have.

We are looking forward to meeting you in Dublin, on 7-11 July. If you have not yet secured your spot, late registrations are still open!
