EuChemS welcomes Ruth Bieringer, as the new President of the German Chemical Society. She is Vice President Technology & Innovation – Material Technology at Freudenberg Sealing Technologies.
Luigi Mondello has been appointed as the new President of the Italian Chemical Society. He is a Professor of Analytical Chemistry at Università degli Studi di Messina and co-president and co-founder of Messina Institute of Technology.
Fernando Cossío Mora will serve as the President of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry. He is a Professor of Organic Chemistry at Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea and Scientific Director of Ikerbasque, the Basque Foundation for the Advancement of Science.
Also, new Secretary General of RSEQ has been elected. Elena Junquera González is a Professor of Physical Chemistry and Deputy Director of the Department of Physical Chemistry at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
