At the meeting, Executive Board members discussed a wide range of relevant topics, including, but not limited to the launch of the The 4th Employment Survey for European Chemists (ESEC4) and the call for the 11th EuChemS Chemistry Congress (ECC11).

The board formally agreed on the launch of ESEC4 in 2025. More details on ESEC4, as well as on the recently released publications on the results of ESEC3 can be found here.

As the organisation of the 10th EuChemS Chemistry Congress, – set to be held in Antwerp, Belgium in 2026 – is well underway, the Executive Board agreed on launching the call for organising ECC11. Member organisations can apply to host this great biennial chemistry event in their respective countries in 2028.

The Executive Board will meet again in person just ahead of the 2024 EuChemS General Assembly and Annual Meetings, which will be held in Berlin, Germany this year, on 23-25 October 2024.
