In total, MSCA possesses a sum of 1.25 Billion EUR to provide funding for Postdoctoral Fellowships, co-funding mechanisms, research training activities, doctoral networks, and connecting research with policy.

The Postdoctoral Fellowships call, with a budget of 417.2 million EUR, is offered to experienced researchers to further develop, and equip themselves with knowledge to “carry out cutting edge research”. 108 million EUR is allocated to the “COFUND” call, to which organisations, wishing to improve and expand their postdoctoral programmes, can apply. The new “Feedback to Policy” call focuses on assessing the links between EU policy priorities and MSCA Projects, with a funding of 2 million EUR.

MSCA also aims to open a number of calls in the near future, such as, amongst others, the Doctoral Networks and the MSCA4Ukraine Actions. The former aims to support the implementation of programmes recruiting doctoral candidates, and goes hand in hand with the European University Degree. The latter supports the mobility of scientists from Ukraine under the Russian invasion. Calls for both of these projects are set to open late may, with a funding of 608 million EUR and 10 million EUR respectively.

Most calls are open until September 2024 – however, further details, such as info day dates, and submission guidelines can be found here.
