This year’s Congress explored crucial issues such as power dynamics within academic institutions, the role of organisational culture in fostering safe and inclusive research environments, and the importance of fairness, equity, and diversity in responsible research.

The discussions also addressed practical approaches to promoting ethical conduct, preventing misconduct, and building awareness within research institutions. Participants examined key contemporary topics, including the responsible use of AI in research, open science practices, and ethical challenges in collaborative and international projects.

By engaging in the ENRIO 2025 Congress, EuChemS contributed to the exchange of perspectives on how to strengthen research integrity and foster a culture of responsibility and transparency in European science.
